Rutgers School of Law - Newark, located in Newark, New Jersey is the oldest of the three law schools in New Jersey. The Law School is accredited by the American Bar Association, a member of the Association of American Law Schools, and registered by the Board of Regents of New York. It was originally founded in 1908 as New Jersey Law School. In 1936 it merged with the University of Newark, which was later incorporated into Rutgers University.
